I covered mine over the winter months and didn't have any issues. It was also garaged and didn't get wet so don't know if that makes a difference. I did pull the cover off a few times to start the car and take it for a spin but didn't notice anything with the paint. Everything seems fine. I'll cover it again this winter, too.

The only way you will have any paint damage is if the car is dirty when covered. I've had my Covercraft Weathershield cover since I bought the Stang 2 years ago, and there is absolutly no damage to the paint. I use a California Duster before I cover it. It has been in all kinds of wind and weather. A quality cover is one of the best investments you can buy for your baby.

yes, i used the cover from brenspeed. although it looks real cool, the underside is not soft. i park and cover my stang outside during weekdays, and along the edges where the cover is tight it rubs from the wind and slowly creates dull areas over time. i took this out w/ some paint sealant and some meguires NXT tech wax 2.0 paste (best wax i've ever used).
i am about to order the covercraft car cover. make sure the underside has a soft layer so it wont cause that rubbing.
