What is the average price for a shop to install a shortblock in our cars?? And does anyone know of a good shop in NJ that will install a shortblock for a decent price??

What kind of shortblock are you looking for? JDM is in NJ.

 

Do you already have a built shortblock or will you be purchasing it froma shop that will do the install?

 

I dont have a shortblock yet i will prob purchase one and have the shop install it..Unless i find a cheaper way

What are you looking for out of a shortblock. The stock alum block is plenty strong for any street application. It's just the rods and pistons thattap out earlya lot of times. Replacing the rotating assembly(rods, pistons, crank) will be less costly than replacing the entire shortblock. JDM and livernoissell both sell 298 stroker kits for N/A and FI applications.
