HID Install

HID Install
Ok so I bought a cheap kit off Ebay because my cousin got a set from the same guy and they work perfectly. Well...his do.
My problem is this: I am from Canada and have Daytime running lights. So, when I turn on my car and let off the hand-brake the DR lights come on. Then I have to turn my little light switch thingy to turn on my headlights. I hooked up one HID to the Driver side, and when my DR lights are on it supplies less voltage (I think I read 6-8v on my Multi-meter) then when my Headlights are on (12v). This low voltage makes the HID's Flicker and after a few seconds turn off. Does anyone else have this problem? Or, Can someone show me a pic of their wiring, or a link to how it should be done, I cannot find anything on HID install on the S197.

RE: HID Install
You will need to install a relay to activiate your HID lights. simply buy a $5 40a relay and wire in to your battery...wire the output to the HID ballast...wir the input of the relay to your low beam wire.
