Default First Mods?? Where to start?

Curious about what to look at first. Thinking about a GT Convertible (5sp), and am interested in what mods provide the best bang for the buck.

Not interested in going all out, just those things that enhance performance/appearance that make the most of the car's potential.

from what ive seen so far...and what ill be doing first...looks like steeda intake, tri ax short shift, and an sct reflash for higher octane fuel....they say the steeda intake and reflash gains you like 27 whp...not too shabby if you ask me....

First thing should be an sct chip / reflash, dyno proven for 20 rwhp = probably the best mod possible for '05's per dollar spent

Better tires, intake/exhaust + dyno tune. After that it's really up to you.

I just brought home my new baby. 2005 GT Vert 5-speed White with Dark interior.

This is what I have done so far:

Home link rear mirror-- 3 remotes, compass, and temp

Heated Seats-- Great for the cold days with the top down

Sequential Lights-- Makes the car

Small black pin stripe with a pony at the end--- small but classy

Spinners on my license plate to match the tires

Inside dress up --- satin A/C *****, Radio ****, Sport pedals, Black lettering door sill plates, and new atenna

Make sure your radio is top of the line. Verts are different than Coupes and you need a good sound to withstand the top down

I replaced all speakers and added an amp and subwoffer

Performance Wise I am looking at the Cold Air Intake. and then ............??

Most of the accessories came from UPR and SSinserts.

Both places have good quality stuff and stock available.

The mirror was from Ford Dealership. Best upgrade I made.

I did most upgrades myself except heated seats and mirror Ford did. Southern Elec. did the radio upgrade.

It is not easy to trust anyone with here. But I find if I call and ask to speak to actual Tech that will be doing the work and kinda chat they are helpful and it makes me feel easier. Most our working on the 2005 mustang for the first time!!!

Also sometimes if you order more than one item from a supplier you can call and ask for a discount.
