Default Stangmods

Hey I just wanted everyone to know how great of a company stangmods is. I was so impressed with their customer service this time around that I just wanted to let everyone know about it. Heres the sparknotes version of the story.

I bought some new black 03 cobrawheels of their site. When I got them I took them to the shop to have the tires balanced/put on still in the box(The first thing I did was put them in my car when I got home and drive over because I had been waiting for months to finally order them lol). The shop called me and told me that there were some problems with the paint on one of the wheels. I emailed the company that stangmods gets their wheels from. They told me that I should have checked the wheels first and it was the shops fault. Neither one wanted to take blame for damaging one of the wheels. The other wheels wereflawless and look amazing. Stangmods paid out of their pockets to send me a new wheel when it was not even their fault. The othercompany tried to screw me over whenthe wheel was clearly damaged during the painting process (flaking/bubbled on multiple places).

I just wanted to thank stangmods again for their great service.Definitelyan A+ company that will do anything for their customers. Will def be ordering from them again!

i was kinda disappointed

ordered AFE stage I intake for 209$
free shippign in the shipping options, even though i put canada and my postal code and everything.
then i get an email saying there are o more stage I's and only stage II's for an extra 60

i didnt have enough money for that but went through with it anwyays. i had ony saved up enough for the intake.

then i get another email asking if they could add an extra 40 for the shipping costs. that's 100 bucks over what i had initially planned on spending.
went through with it anyways but asked if i coudl at least get the msutang forums discount because i had heard about it after placing my initial order.

so lame.

glad to hear you had a good experience with them

one question though, why did you post this in the s197 section instead of the sn95/new edge?

not splitting hairs, just wondered if anyone else noticed that[8D]
