No I don't have my 05 yet but I do have a 99 35th anniversary edition GT. Personally I would rather wash it daily than put mud flaps on.

Okay it does sound crazy however......

I put rear mud flaps on my 2005 GT Vert. They have the pony in white. They look fine and helps a lot. Mine came from the dealership for around $40 bucks. They are small so they do not show up as if it was on a pick up.

I ordered mudflaps as well...

Put them on my Mustang, and took a look... wow, do they ever make the back of the car look stupid...

Only had them on for about an hour and decided they needed to go.

I'm keeping them for winter driving (keep snow/salt off), or if I ever get into a scenario where I wanna go 4 wheeling (hehehe)...

Now you are making me second guess mine. Do you really think they are that bad?? Is it a Stang no no.

There are hundreds of Stang lovers on this board, and probably just as many opinions. Whether it's mudflaps, colors, stripes, wheels, ride height, etc., we all have to love our own car. These boards are a great source of information and ideas, and occasionally keep us from doing something stupid (mechanically speaking). But for cosmetic mods, I believe we should do whatever makes us happy with our own car, and not worry too much about what others think. If you like them, leave them on. if you don't, take them off.

Maybe the only Stang "no no" would be to put a Chevy motor in it.

Putting a Chevy in it would make it go faster, easier and cheaper.

see.. the key is to get the mud flaps put on at a 45 degree angle. maybe throw a little chrome piece on the lower part.. then get 13 inch Dayton’s (gold) and make it wide to stick out about 4 inches...... dont forget the fuzzy dice too
