Ok, here's the deal.Recently after drivingmy '06 GTon the highwayfor a whileand then parking it for 5-10 minutes, when I go back to start and drive it, it has hung twice in 1st gear to about 4,000 rpms and then shifted HARD into second upon take-off.

What would cause the tranny to hang in 1st like this after the car has reached normal operating temperature and sat for a while?

 

Clogged valve bodies?

 

Hmmm...but only when hot? Anyone with an automatic know?

 

Im not sure why?...but mines done it a time or two! i kinda liked it...souded like a stick! LOL

 

Well that's good to know...at least it's not only happening to me!
