Default Seat Covers

I am looking to purchase seat covers for my 05 Stang to protect the leather from wearing. Can you suggest any sites or vendors in Northwestern NJ?

I hate to ask this buy why did you pay for leather if you are simply going to cover it?

I'm not saying you were wrong, I just had to make the same decision myself. I was going to get seat covers (so my lil doggy could ride around with me), and a thought occured too me... how much extra did I pay for leather seats over cloth? I'm not exactly sure, but I'm sure it wasn't free...

So, I'm opting to keep the leather and make little tie on booties for the doggy... I figured I paid for the leather, I might as well enjoy it... I might look into covers for the winter months, but that's only cuz leather tends to stay colder longer than cloth...

I have had leather before in my Expedition and the side worn pretty quick. I am just trying to avoid this from happening again. I see your point and had the same concerns but I was not sure what else to do.

Do you have any other sussestions? Are there any leather treatments I can use to make the leather wear less?

If you want responses about dressing up your dog, then by all means ask the question?

If not, then I would be quite specific to what you want help with here.

I'm Looking for seat covers too, haven't found any yet that are ok, let me know if you find any.
As for why? well, since I paid for leather, I want to protect it during the summer months when it hits 120 degrees.
Already working on tint, also need a dash mat

I use a product called Lexol (I think thats the correct spelling). Use it REGULARLY like you would Armor All (or whatever you fancy) on the tires, and you shouldn't have to worry too much about the seats unless you carelessly climb in and out of them with cell phones, tools, keys and other junk strapped to your belt. They make a Leather Cleaner, and a Leather Conditioner. Obviously, clean the seats first, then use the conditioner to make them shine and help preserve them. I swear by the stuff, but I also don't drive mine too much and it will never see rain, snow, etc.... I used the stuff on a 1993 BMW 740I with 85,000 miles on it and the seats held up pretty darn good.
