Default squeeky shock?

I think my front shock is squeeking. There's the worlds most annoying high pitched squeek coming from the front of my car. It started about a month ago and got worse. I took the wheel off and squirted WD40 over all the pivot points. Except the shock to see if it was any of those. No success there. So any ideas? Is it the shock? Any getting rid of stock shocks for a Gt? Mine is 2005 with 65000 miles on them. Thanks.

it happens constant but gets worse when I hit bumps. It doesn't sound like brakes. I think my old 66 stang did it and it went away when I changed the shocks but I can't remember.
