Default eibach install

Hey everyone, im about to start the installation of the eibach pro kit - - im gonna start with the back end, where is the best place to jack it ?

When I Jack up the back of my car i always place it a little off the side of the pumpkin. Be careful though. The i put a jack stand under both sides and keep the jack on either side on the axle.

thanks for that .... i know one of the mustang magazines had step by step how to install these springs with pictures... anyone know where that article would be, or could point me in any direction would be awesome! thanks

I use a jackpad and jack from the rear end. Once I get the car high enough, I place the jack stands on the axle tubes. The reason why people, or rather Ford, recommends not jacking from the rear end is that they are worried about people not jacking it right and messing up the differential cover and causing a leak. I've done it this way on all of my vehicles and never have a problem. Just use a jackpad or a few rags.

Yeah those that told him to put jack stands on his axle are morons. Why don't you read what he asked for. He's installing springs!!! If he puts the jack stands on the axles he won't be able to get the springs out!!!
