Champion #7989 are the only 1-piece standard heat range plug. Brisk has plugs for FI engines. Autolites are 2-piece.

What is the best plug to go with. I only have 350 miles on my new GT; should I change them now or am I better off to wait a while?

Since you just got the car, dont bother replacing them. DO, however, take them out and put some nickel anti-sieze on the portion below the threads. This is where the problems occur with these spark plugs in the first place. Carbon builds up, and "cements" them in the cylinder head.

With 350 miles, Iwould assume you have an 08. Apparently some 08's have a redesigned head/plug set-up and the TSB procedures do not apply.

Not all of them. I have an 08, build of 9-07, and I have the two piece spark plugs. The only way to really tell is to pull a plug out.
