Default Stock Popping Suspension

Does anybody have an issue with a popping suspension???

I have not done anything to the suspension yet, but worried about occasional popping sound...

There is a TSB out that tells the dealer not to fix it until Ford has a correct repair for it. Same as the defroster flapper not shutting off when you go to floor only.

per my "Friendly Ford Service Rep"

18461 2005 MUSTANG - POPPING NOISE - FRONT OF VEHICLE ON TURNS
2005 MUSTANG VEHICLES MAY EXHIBIT A POPPING NOISE COMING FROM THE FRONT OF THE VEHICLE IN TURNS. VERIFY THAT NOISE IS COMING FROM THE STRUT BEARING OR SPRING WITH CHASSIS EARS. ENGINEERING IS CURRENTLY INVESTIGATING. NO REPAIRS SHOULD BE ATTEMPTED AT THIS TIME. MONITOR OASIS FOR UPDATES.

Hmmm.... This is per a FORD specialist tech (thats me by the way. lol )

TSB
05-9-11 FRONT SUSPENSION POPPING NOISE WHILE TURNING RIGHT OR LEFT - VEHICLES BUILT BEFORE 4/8/2005

Publication Date: April 27, 2005

FORD: 2005 Mustang

ISSUE:
Some 2005 Mustang vehicles built before 4/8/2005 may exhibit an intermittent popping noise from the front of the vehicle while turning left or right. The noise will typically occur during low speed maneuvers and may occur multiple times while turning.

ACTION:
On both sides of the vehicle, install a revised upper strut bearing assembly. If the vehicle was built before February, 2005 it may also be necessary to install a lower spring seat isolator if one is not already present. Refer to the following Service Procedure.
