Default Best Cold Air Intake

What is the best cold air intake to get for performance? Also, who do you get a tune from? The dealer?

Interesting that nobody EVER asked this question before. I'm sure if it HAD been asked thatyou'd have found all the info you ever wanted to know (and more). Too bad this forum doesn't have a SEARCH feature...

All of the CAI's are equivalent in performance. It mainly boils down to price and which one looks better to YOU. As far as tuners, Brenspeed, Bama, VMP are 3 of the more popular vendors. Check people's sigs; they usually indicate who provided their tunes.

Which ever one you like the looks of and can afford. The tunes the important part. A tune from the stealership? Funny. Nor a tune from ford, they're the ones who de-tuned our cars in the first place. bama or brenspeed.

I just ordered a JLT for Bama. With that order I got three additional tunes for no charge.

all cai's produce similar results. its the tuning of your car that makes the real difference. if you want quality, C&L is top notch. if you want great mail-order tunes, Bama/VMP/Brenspeed are the big 3 on these forums. good luck and search other threads for more detailed info.
