Default Question..water

It has been raining here in Calgary Alberta steadily for a good week. I noticed the other day that the front passenger side of my car carpet near the kicker pannel was damp. The passenger door was closed properly and was just wondering if anyone has experienced this and is there a fix. I suspect that it is coming in through the cabin filter under the windshield cowl. Am I out to lunch, should just take it in to have the dealer look at it.

cheers

I know a ton of people have posted about this. I would just suggest searching for it on here. You'll get many topics regarding this. I don't know what the fix is though, because I have not experienced this.

Anyone else...could someone point me in the right dirrection to find a post on this. I would just take it to the dealer but I am **** when it comes to anyone working on my car and would just rather fix it myself if possible. I don't trust the hacks they hire at dealers but that is another storey in itself...

There is a TSB on the subject. TSB 07-14-6. You will need to take it in and have it fixed in accordance with this. It involves four different areas that are prone to leak.

Yep, the dealer implementing the TSB will supposedly resolve the issue. There are quite a few threads about this.
