I've been searching every websote there is for a gas cap cover that has a chrome outline and a polished black centerpiece that does not say GT...Does anyone know of a website that has this or even show me your pictures with different gas caps on them...I have a Black 07 V6..
My tail light are black and the rims will be black with chrom lip that is why I have been searching for this type of cap.

 

Just buy a chrome one and paint the center part black.

Thanks guys but still no luck for what i'm looking for...That first site has the style I want but not polished or chrome...and I rather not paint anything..Can some people post pictures of their gas caps if they have changed them..perferebly on a black stang plz

 

I think if you go to Silverhorse Racing's website, you might find what you are looking for.

With their fuel doors, I think you can mix and match an anodized black door with a chrome or
polished ring, like this one from their "customer cars":



I don't know of anyone who actually sells them like that, but send an e-mail or call and ask about it.

 

OK, stupid forum isn't allow for edits to posts, but yes, I realize THAT one says GT in it, but I believe
they do sell a black anodized door with no GT engraved...

 

How easy are these to install? I have been looking at just "Chrome" ones... but I am "Mechanically Challenged".. so its gota be "Idiot Proof Easy"... (for my 06 Stang)

That looks like a Painted "Original" Cover... meaning you just painted the Factory Cover? Looks nice though if that is what you did!
