I also have a vert and added the FRP strut bar it looks cool I could not really notice any difference. I dont have the problem of the hood not closing without slamming but it does rub on the hood liner also.

I installed the Edelbrock three point brace on my vert. I noticed a definite reduction in cowl shake and an improvement in turn in, especially at lower speeds. I think it would be more suited to autocross than the track. It was a real pain to install. It would not clear the plenum cover.

I installeda BMR brace in conjunction with the dspecs and roush springs, so I did notice a diff. I would venture to say a strut brace alone wouldnt cause notice. My brace will clear a roush or whipple sc (future plans...), and havent noticed any hood clearance problems.

Done a lot of mods on my suspension. A Strut tower Brace not on the list. May look cool for some folks. But personnaly I really don't care for the look.
That's the neat thing about being an individual.........please yourself, don't give a rats rear end about some one elses taste!!

I just took my Edlebrock 3 point brace off ... I like the look but it had to go for some other mods that Im doing. I didn't notice to much to be honest
