Seems like a lot of jack for REPLICA's - and we don't even know yet if those are indeed the wheels that will be on the final production Cobras, do we?

Noticed a Cobra in the wheel cnter. Is this Ford true ?? Or, just a brand of wheel. Also, does anyone know the width comparison of the 2005 tires -vs- the 2004 and back??

It looks like the 05 body, just can't take the larger tire. I have heard a 255 is max under the 05. Not a lot of tire, if power adders are in the future of your ride.

Plenty of 05's running around with 275's and 285's. The 05 Saleens come with 275's. Wish I'd gotten 275's for my 18x9 rims instead of the 255's I'm running. I'm sure I'll be coughing up for wider rubber once I get my blower installed.

Are the Saleens fenders flared ?? This is the one ponit I realy would like some clarification on. If I keep my 05 GT, I want to do power adders, and of course bigger tires. I don't drive it in the rain, and want that width for handling. I understand that the right tire compound can make a big difference, but I also want the wide tire look, and don't want a set of tires that wear out at or under 7K miles.

Any pic's on the site of your ride ?? Sounds like an 05, and with the wheels changed out. So you see the extra clearence for the 275's ??

Any info. apprecated.

Here's a pic from the rear of my car with 255's. Also take a look a few posts up at sowaxeman's ride. Unless he's changed his rubber, he's on 275's.

Nice !! Mines a redfire metalic also. If you lowered the car, would the rear tires rub on the inner wheel well lip?? Hard to tell from a photo.

Did I mention, I am a needy person. LOL
