So I got a letter from ford and the stealership that there was recall on my car for the airbags- Im planning on calling them tomorrow and bringing the car by on tuesday for them to fix it I just want to know what to expect. Has anyone taken theres in for this? Is it just like a tune thing? Any feedback would be great thanks~

I have the same recall notice. However, I really don't have any need to have the system reflashed as I don't have small childern riding around in my car let alone not being strapped in. As I understand it, this recall is for irresponsible parents that don't keep their kidsin proper child seats/restraints or have then belted in.

Everyone should get the recall done and as soon as possible. Anyone you have in your passenger seat is a possible target for the airbag deploying too hard, not just kids.
It's a safety thing, you have a responsibility to your passengers and it takes them all of 15 minutes tops.

I took my car in for an oil change and they told me about this recall a few months back he said it would take them like 10-15 min. Get it done regardless if you have kids or not cause my sister inlaw is an adult and she is 4'9" and weighs about 110# so its not just for irresponsible adults it for any one who would bring a passanger in their car.Do it....

I read about the recallmore online after recieving the notice and it said for about 40,000 of them made which seemed like a really big number to me. It also said that if your a small person who drives with the seat all the way foward your at risk. I'm a tall girl so I dont drive like that but still what if you ever want to sell your car dont you want it to be safe?

The dealership will take care of your car's recall problem even when you take it in for its maintenance check.

I truely believe that this effects every stang produced not just 07's, since I have an 05 and recieved the recall document in the mail just last week for it. Always have these adjustments done esp. if safety related due to (the loving nature of are sue happy nation) possible legal responsibilties involved IMHO.
