Default Window tint?

I'm getting my windows tinted tommorrow and was wondering how they are going to raise the windows up after opening the door. I have an 09 and I assume the rest do it to but when I open my door the window rolls down a 1/4 inch and when you shut the door raises back up. I sure hope the installer knows a trick.

I hope the tint dries quickly because I would hate to have the tint peel when I go and pick it up.

My tint guy just uses a tool to turn the latch on the door. Fools it into thinking it's closed, up goes the window. He does the front first to give it plenty of time to dry.Don't open the window for 24 hours he suggested.I didn't and no problems.

make sure you install the felt before opening the window, unless the newer models have it already.

the 09's are just gonna be the same but with the added option of a glassback roof. so if he did have an 09 without the glassback, it'd just look like a regular 05-08

You need to install felt and like most people here have said, you just need to flip the latch with a flat head screw driver to get the windw to go up. Just remember to flip it back before you close the door. And if they really know what they are doing they will warm up the tint a few times with the heat gun near the base of the window after it is on as to help it harden faster so when you open and close the door it wont shift the tint around
