Default offroad H pipe.

i was browsing through brenspeed.com and since i have decided to order me some boomtubes. i was listening to a video clip of a guy running boomtubes and offroad h pipe and i think i got a hard on. but i was looking at brenspeed and saw that it says when you install the h pipe, something about removing the cat converter and the check engine light comes on. someone plz feel me in on this stuff im not to mechnically smart. do you remove the cats with the installion of a new h pipe or what... someone help lol

o/r H pipe is an H pipe without the cats so yes you would be removing the cats if you bought the o/r H from Brenspeed. Your check engine light will come on but you can get MIL eliminators that will turn that light off..brenspeed also sells those or if you have a tuner you can turn it off with that and a tune.

FYI you'll probably want to put some dynamax resonators inline otherwise you'll likely have some trumpeting w/the or-h and boomtubes.

I have the H-Pipe and Flows and it sounds great, but I have an 07 and the mils dont work on them, so I got a tuner.

+1 on the resonators.......it's killer with them, and just absurd without them. check the vid in my sig unless mine's the one you heard already
