Default problem after disconnect battery.

yesterday i disconnect my battery and try to install HID FOG. after i finish.
i reconnect my battery and start the car. for some reason when i step on the gas my rpm rev high and stay there. i have JLT cia and evo tune. do i have to reload the tune after? people told me the comp will reset itself. so i dunno. anyone have the same problem before?

and also im looking for 4.10 gear. right now i have 3.55 .fred from
evo told me i can just change the gear ratio with the sct
tuner myself. dont need a new tune. is that ture?

Tunes are stored in non volitile memory.
It wont disappear unless you change it.
Wouldnt that be a pisser if you had to
get your tune reloaded because of a
dead or disconnected battery.
The adaptive learning is not stored in non volitile memory.
Dis-connect the battery and the adaptive learnng parametersare gone.
How many miles are on her? The more miles, the more different
the adaptive learning parameters are from the default, battery
disconnected, parameters of a new engine.
Maybe you should try the adaptive learning procedure.
Have you re-calibrated the gas pedal?
Maybe try re-calibrating it.
Have you done the bend the springs gas pedal mod?

You can change the revs/mile in the SCTwithout modifying
the tune you are curently using.

The gas pedal mod is a long one and should be in the search funtion. The adaptive learning curve will adjust within 20 miles back to normal driving styles so enjoy it while it lasts.

YES, I have the XCAL3 and I know the XCAL2 can also do this. I think this settingis on most turners.

Turn on ignition without starting engine.
Wait for idiot lights to cycle and extinguish.
Slowly depress the gas pedal and slowly release
it a few times.
Turn off ignition.
Recalibration done.
