Some people like the MGW but I love my Tri-Ax. Has positive stop locks to prevent over shifts, a nice tight gate between gears, virtually finds third gear for you, easy install, adjustable arm height, can re-use stock ****, and alost no extra noise or vibrations.

Hurst is the classic, its what all the old cars had back in the day. Im sure MGW might be a better shifter, but its like three hundred dollars and it doesn't have the heritage...

The MGW is only $50 more than the billet Hurst. I know the MGW is made in the USA. Excellent quality and great service support from the company. Plus adustable throw and handle height and a very quiet shifter. More than worth the extra $50.

I have had both the Hurst and the Triax.....the Hurst looks great, but the Triax shifts much smoother.

I started with the Hurst. It was ok, but wasn't nearly as nice as my the MGW I have now. It's worth the extra money for the MGW.
