I have a 2007 mustang gt, i was wondering if the rear spoiler on a v6 pony package that is flush type, will bolt directly to the holes in my gt. I have called multiple dealership and they have no idea, if anybody can help that would be great.

 

I'm thinking that it won't.

It might bolt,but does'nt the spoiler have a place for the exhaust?
It would not work if that is true because of the dual exhaust on the GT vs single for the v6.

 

Spoiler on trunk deck. Valance under bumper with exhaust holes in it.

 

im talking about the spoiler on the truck.

 

I don't know for sure, but I think that it would, the Shelby GT 500 spoiler bolts right in to the GT spoiler location.

 

Do yourself a favor.
Go for a ducktail instead.
The new v6 spoilers look like @$$.

 

A lot of people like the V6 spoiler on my GT/CS. It was already on the car when I bought her new at the dealership. I guess the dealer had swapped out the original GT spoiler for the V6 one at some point. I'm glad they did 'cause I don't like the GT spoilers. I strongly believe it was a simple swap and the bolt holes are the same otherwise the dealer might not have done it. Itook the V6 spoiler off one time and saw 4 holes in the trunk lid. There were no signs of other holes being covered up or drilled. These were factory made holes. Like I said, if the dealer had to drill or cover up holes then they might not have gone through the trouble of swapping the spoiler. In conclusion...I'd say it's a straight swap.

 

^^+1 for 6er spoiler looking better than gt, but you can get a gt500 one painted for $100 through the spoiler store and looks even better, why not go that route?

 

I also like the 6-er spoiler far more than the GT item.

 

All the decklids have the same 4 mounting holes unless they are spoiler delete decklids.
