Anyone know where I can order a locking gas cap for the '05 Mustang? The Online Ford Service center told me that they do not carry one for the '05. I need to order online, and I have yet to find a site that carries them or are willing to ship overseas.

 

You can order a locking gas cap directly from Stant. Not in the stores yet, but they shipped it right to my door UPS in a few days. I believe it was $28.95 and $5 for shipping.

can it be rekeyed to match your ignition key or do you HAVE to use a separate key?

 

Different key used. I don't think it can be rekeyed for the ignition. It's a shorter key than ignition key.

That is correct. The key blank is totally different. Impossible to use the same key as the ignition. If they wont ship overseas just get someone you know in the U.S. or Canada to buy it for you and have them ship it.
