Does anyone have tinted tail lights? im getting all my lights tinted next week and i just want to see how it will look. im getting mine painted by an autobody shop. thanks in advance.

Here's mine. I tinted them just enough to match the third brake light. I didn't want to run into problems with the law or getting my state inspection.

 

so do the tails just get tinted like your normal windows? I have seen the blackout covers from AM but I havn't seen tint on plastic taillight covers.

 

Paint them

 

I've heard of people tinting lights with film, but never seen it in person. I painted my lights. Basically I used clear basecoat with a little black in it, sprayed it til i got the desired tint, then clear coated them. The quality looks OEM.

im definetly using paint, does anyone know how to remove the 3rd brake light? it will be cheaper if i take off all the lights for the painter.
