Three months after taking delivery, the old lady and I took a 2500 mile treck from Philadelphia to Las Vegas to see the family. Loved every minute of too, ( scratch that I70 throuh Kansas sucks). We had a great time and wouldn't think twice about doing it again. A lot of guys want to try and savor the miles on their cars and that's all good and well but I want to enjoy my baby as much as I can. Have fun on the trip, and keep and I out for Troopers, 95mph comes quicker than you think, lol.

Just came back on a SF to LA trip, about 700 miles. Average 70-75 mph VERY EASY on gas (I know, it's a muscle car, meant to exercise the muscles, just wanna see how efficient it can get), and got 25 mpg average by careful calulations, eventhough the computer shows 25-26 average. Great Grand Touring machine, smooth and comfy. I'm very happy with it. Only complain is the a/c not cold enough, given 90 degrees out.

Road trips in the mustang are always fun. Just try to avoid any rainy weather. Then you have to stop and wash it, etc. You cant go road tripping in a dirty stang. That is rule #1 [sm=icon_rtfm.gif]
