Default Active anti-theft alarm settings

A while back someone posted the instructions for setting the sensitivity levels on the alarm. Can someone point me to the post or re-post please?

I tried searching for "alarm" and "active" and "anti-theft" and every time it said there were "no matches"....

The reason I'm asking is that I can lock the car with the fob and then go rock the car back and forth as hard as I can but nothing happens. I don't want it to be too sensitive but it seems like it should be more sensitive that that.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

Send a PM to Professor Wizard. He posted the instructions for this way back. I cannot get the search to cooperate, so perhaps the Professor would answer a PM.....

What happens if for instance you want to change your oil and you drive up on rhino ramps and then turn the vehicle off. Will the alarm go off because its on an incline? What if you have a flat tire pull over and jack your car up to change it will it go off? How do you tow your car with this? Do you have to have your key to the ON position when you do these things?

No, it won't go off. Read your manual for complete info. No change in settings that I can find.

I think you need to press the lock button twice on the key fob to set the active alarm.
