I like it a lot! I have black and will be getting my stripes painted in a couple weeks. I am thinking of dark grey (not silver) or maybe a dark blue. I think the grey would look better but the blue would be more unique.

Hoe wide are they? and the spacing?

I was also told that with the "orange peel" surface of the factory paint, that I should probably re-clear coat the whole car so it would be glass smooth everwhere. Would it really look that bad to have the hood/roof/back perfectly smooth and the sides still orange peel?

I like them. It keeps a subtle, classy look. When (if?) I get the scoop I want (a functional shaker for a supercharger - hurry up CDC!), I would like to do a ghost graphic on the hood and maybe front quarters. Nothing flashy, just enough to enhance an already great car. With the S/C, it would be a bit of a sleeper, too.

 

Finally.... Stripes that don't jump out in front of you and hatchet your eyes out of your head!

There was someone on another forum that emailed the guy that made that hood. Supposedly he is going to be selling them soon.

 

I like that hood, too. Wonder if it would work with a S/C????

But, my first choice would be the shaker... it goes back to my love affair with the 69 Mach 1.

 

I really like the subtle look. I wanted to get mine done but so many have been done, I dont know if I will now...
