Looked and checked at all the dealers in the DFW area for an 05 GT, only one dealer had one and it seemed to be "SOLD" everytime someone went to look at it.

Well my son works for a Toyota dealer in the area and he called me last Thursday at lunch and told me that they just took on trade a fully loaded black on black, leather, w/4,xxx miles on it from a gentleman in his mid 50's who just did not like the car and wanted to trade it on a Corolla. Needless to say I was there in a matter of minutes.

 

Well... it seems that both our car-salesman sons have some value afterall. lol

My son spotted the car I bought at the Ford dealer next door to the Chrysler dealer where he works.

 

I went to the biggest dealer in the area. Their computer said they had one GT left, but nobody could find it - after two searches with my salesman, we spotted it way in the back corner of the back lot, hidden between some other cars. It was the color I wanted, with just the options I wanted. Score.

 

My local dealer has a used Mineral Grey..... 4k+ miles...... They're asking $28,991......
