Default more rattling...

OK, so as you know I've been having rattling problems with my car. They have been loud metallic rattles.

First, I took my car in, because at 2-3k rpm especially, I heard rattling. This was the spacer plate, which I had fixed. Don't know if there is a TSB for this or not.

Secondly, I then heard more rattling, so I took my car in and had the rear strut TSB done. Rattle stopped for a while.

Now, it is rattling again - sounds like a loud mettalic rattle, only happens when I go over bumps. Dealership says they checked all the of the suspension, front and rear, no problems. Checked the exhaust, made sure everything was tight, and it still rattles. Some days it rattles so loud it sounds like something is going to fall off, and other days you can't hear it. On the bad days it is annoying as hell! Yesterday I hit a big bump on the way to the dealership and it stopped the rattle temporarily, so they couldn't find it. But then on the way home I hit another big bump, and this rattle came back. It is definitely a mettalic rattle...it sounds like a nut/bolt rattling on a metal plate - that kind of noise. Put a bolt on a metal sheet and shake them and that's the sound. I'm going to try to take it back in today. Any suggestions/ideas on what this could be?

I have the same problem. Let me know if they find anything. First I though ti was the new speakers I put in. Then I thought it was the the new mufflers. Now I have no clue.

I have the same problem, mine sounds like it's coming from the center console area? I recently put a new shifter in and it started shortly after that! I have looked for everything but I can't find it. It only happens when I go over bumps. I will keep looking and if i find out what it is I'll get back to you.

Mine rattles too, started right after the GT mufflers went on, took it in and had the muffler guy look for shiny spots under the car, he found where a muffler bracket was contacting the frame and ground it off. That took care of most of it, for the crashing sound when i go over a big bump, removing a small box i had been carrying in the trunk took care of that-the slight low RPM rattle that remains i think is the aluminum rear window louvers.
