Default FRONT PLATE MOUNT

Just bought my GT and the dealer says the plate just screws to the bumper.

I checked with the parts dept. and they said the same thing.

Is there a factory plate mount?

Thanks, Jeff

If you look closely, like REAL closely as it's easy to miss, you should see two very tiny starter holes (not really HOLES but almost) on the front bumper.

My front place mount is called my glove box.

Thanks

I saw those but I've never had a car without a separate mount.

I wish we could get away with not having a front plate, but it is enforced alot around NW Ohio.

Thanks yours too.

At least you won't need a front plate in MI.

When I went to pick up my 08 at the dealer two weeks ago, those homos had drilled into my front bumper and mounted one of "their" license plate frames. I threw a fit, but they said "Texas requires a front plate, so what are you complaining about?" God I was pissed. They should have had the courtesy to put the damn thing on the passenger floorboard and let me do whatever I wanted to with it.

yep - same thing happened to me here in Missouri. I used a couple black cap plugs in the holes but the local cops were eying me up so i put on the damned front plate.

I'm in central Ohio and I haven't had a front plate on the entire time that I've had my 07 GT. No problems yet!
