Default Driving Question...

OK so now that I FINALLY got my rattles fixed (this last time it was a loose front strut nut), I have been paying close attention to my driving and especially the stock suspension. I feel like when I go over a bump at speed, especially if I am turning, the stang seems to "hop" a little...almost like I am slightly losing control. Of course I recover quickly and keep control, but I am wondering if it has to do with the live rear axle, having never driven a car with asolid rear axle before.

So, is this normal? Do you guys notice your car "hopping" a bit if you take a sharp turn at speed and hit a bump? And do you notice even if you're going straight and hit a bump at speed that you feel like for a second you don't really have much control over the car? Just curious...

And BTW, no matter how many issues I have with this stang, every time I get it back from the stealership I fall in love with it all over again... :-)

If its the rear end you are talking about the stick axle will indeed 'hop'. High quality dampers can do alot to control this.
