Lower GT/CS

Lower GT/CS
I have seen different posts for reducing the ride height of our cars but since the CS is a little low in the front already, I'd like to just get the rear end down a bit. This car has a few tweaks but is it a cruiser for sure - no road/drag racing. I've also seen some recommendations for Roush rear springs only and I like the idea of re-using the shocks etc, since the car has less than 500 miles on it.
Are the springs I need part # 401295 ? Also any help with a "how to" thread on this would be appreciated.

RE: Lower GT/CS
Thats the right number for the Roush springs . I put them on my 2008 CS lowered about 1 inch made the back wheel well to tire the same as the front. TacoBill has a write up on the install.Takes about 1to 2 hours from jack up to jack down.

I have a GT/CS also. Great choice in color by the way! Ihad the same thoughts in the past about what springs to get because of the lower CS front fascia so I did some research and found springs that has the lowest amount of drop in front which were the Tein H Tech springs. I have them on my car and I love them. The drop is only 0.9" in front and 1.7" in the rear. I don't have a problem going over speed bumps and the car rides almost as smooth and comfortable as stock. I've seen cars with just the rear loweredand the front/rear wheel gaps don't look right since the rear wheel gap will be smaller now compared to the unlowered front.
Here's my car on Tein H Tech springs.

Nice fastback. Overall yours does look lower than stock and I like the sleek look with no hood scoop and v6 spoiler(?) . I especially like the black on white combo and your red calipers look great.
maybe because of the heavier weight or distribution of the weight, but on the 'vert, the rear gap between the tire and fender well is exactly 1" higher than the front. Plus i think i can tackle the job on the rears but the front spring change out looks like I'd be getting in over my head.
