Default Failsafe Mode Question

How do you know if your car is running in the failsafe mode??? I notice when I load a tune, it runs like a raped ape, but after a couple of days, it seems like it's stock again. The get up and go feeling is gone after a couple of days. I always figured I was just used to the car, but this isnt the case. So how do you know if it's in failsafe???
Thanks in advance!!

I rely on you guys more than anything, but I believe I answered my question by googling it. Im not throwing any codes, so I know Im not running in failsafe. Guess I can call Doug and ask him about the tunes.

When I installed my tune from Bama I got the same thing, engine went into failsafe mode and just turned over. I cycled the key a few times and it has been running fine. I'm not sure if this is intended but it sure freaked me out when i put the tune in haha

its your adaptive strategy that makes it seem like its lose power a way to clear the memory is to turn your key to the run position push the gas pedal down for 5 seconds and up for 5 seconds and then turn the key off and then start. this clears the kam memory and then starts fresh.
