Default Easy throttle lag fix

I came up with what I think was a easy way to fix my throttle lag. I read the huge post about taking the throttle controller out and bending the brushes etc. Now I knew for sure I would F*** that up!! I ran my car while looking at the controller, I used my hand and pushed on the pedal. I could see it moves about 1/8 of an inch(opening a gap)at thepivot pointbefore the RPMS increased. I simply thought if I could fill in that 1/8", I would create a stop at the point of RPM increase. So I put a dumbell on the pedal and mixed up some JB Weld, let it stiffen up a bit and formed it on the bottomedge of the throttle pivot point,(extenting the stop)about 1/8 " thick, hardened overnight. Started it in the morning and after the RPMS dropped to normal, I touched the throttle and instant RPM increase!! (I stayed away from the edges, making sure it didnt glue the piviot together). Makes a nice little throttle stop.

sounds harder than just bending them an 1/8th inch.

sorry no pics. just push on the throttle with your hand while it is running and you will see the gap opening as the throttle pivots. Just see how big the gap is when the RPMS increase.

I think the other guy mentioned, used a bolt in some way??
