hey guys.. about to order a Pypes O/R H and seems like brenspeed is always the place to go..

just wanted to see if anyone else has ordered one from them.. do they give us members any discount? and if so, how do we/they honor it?


and also, does this mid pipe come in two pieces? or whole? or what.. my SLP modular X came in like 30 freakin pieces..

 

Got mine from brenspeed. very good service and no problems with my h pipe. comes in 2 pieces with a clamp.

 

i've ordered other stuff from brenspeed. their customer service it great and as stated above the pypes hpipe is 2 pieces. not sure on the discount but i dont think they offer one.

But their prices are reasonable and FREE shipping!!

It comes in 2 pieces with a clamp that connects the H.

 

When I got mine it came in 4 pieces. I heard they changed from 2 pc to 4 to make it cheaper for shipping. Cheaper for them, not for us. Also the clamps that came with it sucked and wouldn't tighten enough to keep from leaking so I had to weld them up. Also one of the 02 sensor bungs was turned wrong and the sensor rested right against the tranny so I had to cut the bung out with a grinder, turn it away from the tranny and reweld it. Pypes quality really sucks.

well i have the mid mufflers.. love em.. but im getting ratteling like crazy and exhaust leaks aout the bung-hole from the cuts, and the 15 thousand clamps for all the exaust parts.. so when i get this in.. im going to have the muffler guy just weld EVERYTHING.. and call it a day.. no more leaks.. no more rattles.. cant wait!..

Yea the system is now 4 parts, the down pipes, the H section.

 

Mine that I have in the garage was a 2 piece and a clamp. Once you run it for awhile, it will become a one piece, the 2 pipes wont separate. Never had any issues with mine, ran great with the Stingers....great combo!

 

It leaked enough with 2 pieces. Can't imagine how it would leak now with 4 pieces!!!

You would have to get everything welded as you said.
