i have a box from jegs with the frpp x pipe right beside me.....my original intentions were to keep the cats and just install the x pipe and use my flowmaster axlebacks but i heard it wouldsound like crap. i have looked on you tube and i can't really tell that much sound difference..everyone that has the x pipe and chambered mufflers please advise me before i just send them packing to ohio

It wont sound bad with the stock cats! the sound doesnt change that much just a slight rasp. sounded really good when i ran SLPs( much more aggressive at WOT) and would sound good with boomtubes as well! as for the chambered mufflers..id stay with the factory H-pipe cause itll be deeper. hope this helps some

IMO......if you like the tinny sound the flows have, you'll love the tinny sound they have after the X-pipe. The flowmasters AT's do not sound deep at all under acceleration.

I have the FRPP x pipe with SLP LM's I just put it on till I can get headers with a catted x and maybe change the LM's. But I like the sound difference in sound comes above 3k rpm's
