Default Concerns over a loud explosion noise...

Guys, so I just returned from a long 1200 mile road trip with no issues. Pulling into the driveway tonight I hear a loud "tire" explosion coming from the rear of my car, maybe not as loud as a tired exploding but pretty damn loud. Anyways, I get out of the car and see nothing out of the normal. However, now around large speed bumps I hear a clunk/crack coming from the right rear (or what seems like it). Its random and sometimes it doesnt do it. I looked under the car and everything seems fine. I do have a lot of loose items in the trunk so Im hoping its that, but it really sounds like something else.

+1, check to see if you car is level. Does it sag to one side/corner?

Damn, you might be right on this one. On level ground the car looks even. I have a parking spot at my apartment where it leans towards the passenger side, when I parked in that side the right rear looked much lower.

Is there another way I can test this all out?

I am running Tokico DSpec struts all around. And steeda springs

Check the spair tire!!!!!! I know it sounds odd but a freind of mine came back to his car on a warm summer day to see his rear speaker grills laying in the back seats (not a stang it was a jetta) He opened the trunk only to find his never before used spair had blown up! it even slightly bowed the trunk lid[:@]

I would also check the trac bar. My trac bar was bent and every time I would go over a speed bump I would hear a big clack noise. Got it replaced and everything is ok now.
