Mechanical error won't make a car flip?? you don't even know what happened so why are you talking?
His rear wheels locked up, causing him to hit a curb were he thne knocked down 3 trees, then hit hit a tree with his right front
wheel but it didn't fall completly so it made a little ramp for one wheel. Maybe you shouldn't be such a smartass next time.

I had the same thing happen in a Fiat I had many years ago, the rear wheels locked up while I was driving down the freeway. It didn't lose control and go flying off the road. Maybe if the front wheels locked up it would lose control, but not the backs. I just steered it straight ahead and slowly onto the shoulder until it stopped. Sounds like there was at least some driver error involved in your friend's accident, he more than likely overreacted to the situation. My brother rolled his Chevelle that way, he was street racing and hit a curb, yanked the wheel too hard and went across the road, over the other curb and smacked a fire hydrant. The car rolled 2-1/4 times. We were lucky to walk away from that one, but 2 of our friends ended up in the hospital.
It's safe to say there is no one here that will escape being in a car accident at some point in your lives. I hope when you guys have accidents you post pictures so everyone can laugh at you too. I'm sure it'll make you feel much better.
