Thanks for the comments...Here's my thoughts...when I started my exterior mod I always wanted a retro feel. So I did a little research and found that on the early models there was chrome trim; bezel ights, grilleand chrome wheels. I know the look isn't for everyone but I get a lot of compliments; I even had a stalker follow me home and tell me my Mustang is the best he's seen around.

well, since SO MANY don't like chrome, get brushed stainless
looks nice on silver (i'm slightly partial to Satin Silver for some reason)
looks even better with the blackout
some other car had some chrome trim around its tail lights too

I say yay. I have a black GT convertible with the 18" wheels, and I like just a little bit of chrome to offset the black on all sides. The aluminum wheels really stand out against the black, which led me to get the taillight bezels.
The dealer installed a chrome insert grill that has chrome foglight bezels that I didn't really like, but my wife really pushed me to keep it. The taillight bezels add a touch of chrome to the back. I get a lot of people complimenting me on the car, and many people mention how they like the grille. I plan to replace the chrome grill (it's plastic) with a stainless grille, if I can find one that has the foglight bezels, or buy them seperate. Otherwise, that's the only chrome on my car.
