lets see, 80000 dollars for upgrade, gas is know 4.25 a gallon and base average of 18 mpg so i would make even after 80,000 / 4.25 = 18823 18223 * 18 = 328014

so after 325,014 miles i would break even, SWEET oh ya sorry not worth it.

Not counting the money you'd spend on electricity to charge it. However, on the other side of the equation, gas is still going up. It could be $10 a gallon in a couple of years. Also, the $80K is not all for the engine upgrade. It includes extensive body and interior mods.

Kinda hard to figure it exactly, but for sure it's not a good move for saving money. I don't think I'd like the payments, either. On a 5 year note, the payments would be over $1500 a month, depending on the interest rate. Ouch!

Weird, Do you think they noticed that ??

An electric Mustang. Hmmm, I can think of few things more sacrilegious.

You're completely ignoring the intangible benefits though. I think being able to thumb my nose at those prius driving motherf##kers while driving past them at 200mph is well worth the cost.

Yeah, but 2000 foot pounds of torque? Good googlie moogly! Thats not your garden variety slug electric car. It would completely demolish 99% of the mustangs on here. Get used to the idea...in 20 years, gas will be completely outdated.

Who knows, they might even put a flux capacitor in the 2020 mustang! lol

yes that stang is a lot of $$$$ but if you use it as your DD you save big $$$ on fuel, and if you could get a bank to finace that for 15 years it woule beabout 450 for the coversion i pay about 200 a month for fuel in mine so my payments would really be only a bout 250 out of pocket
