you just saved me 70bucks..i owe you a beer..thanks!!

I just put these on my '08 GT. It is a splice-in kit, but VERY easy to do and comes with everything you need to install. I can't imagine it would be worth it to spend twice as much to get a whole new harness.

The beauty of a complete new harness is that your not cutting up the factory wiring. If the sequentials ever fail all you have to do is unplug them and plug the factory harness back in and you're in business. Also,if you ever sell it for another S197 Mustang you could unplug them and take them with you.

IMHO, plug and plays are well worth thesmall extra cost to get a 'factory type' and trouble-free installation.

Yeah, I understand that many people feel better about not cutting factory wiring. Not so for me, I guess. I've been repairing pinballs and arcade games for years, so I am pretty comfortable with a soldering iron.

In any case, I could have mine "back to factory" in about 20 minutes. A properly soldered splice that has been weatherproofed correctly will outlast the car, I have no doubt.

Agreed, and well said.
I did not pay what I paid for this car, to cheapout when buying small mods.

I have the Web Electric that I got from CJ Pony Parts. Took 15 minutes to install only because of all of the stuff you have to move to get the tail light assembly out. Works great.

I just installed the web electrics aswell and love them. The install was super easy except for that darn reverse socket that was a pain in the **** to reinstall.
