Default OEM/Motorcraft Locking Fuel Cap

Does Ford Motor Division and/or Motorcraft make a locking fuel cap w/tether for the S197s? I am specifically looking to "cap" my '05 GT fuel tank. I looked on the internet and am a little confused. I understand that fuel tank sealing, due to closed emission systems, is paramount. Don't want to trigger any warning lights, etc.
I am an OEM fanatic and therefore asking if anyone can advise with part #s or direct me to who sells OEM/Motorcraft locking fuel caps w/tether for my '05 GT...
Thanks for the help....

I installed a Motorcraft 8L3Z-9030-E locking gas cap on my 2007 GT500; it looks just like the stock cap with the lanyard directed towards the fuel door hinge for mounting. I just keep the key in the console rather than on my key chain; the other key is at home in a safe place. I've been using it for nearly a year now without any issue.

I pryed off the button that secures the plastic strap with a plastic prybar and popped the new one in place - simple!

You can order the cap from your Ford dealer or by mail order at Silverstate Ford Parts.com.

I got a Stant locking cap probably 25-30K miles ago, no issues or problems. Looks exactly like the Ford cap. I would bet the farm Stant makes the cap for Ford and the Stant cap is a lot cheaper.

I started with a Stant locking cap, forgot the part number, but its internals did not look like the stock cap. Although I didn't encounter any issues, I ended up returning it after reading the cautionary statements in the owner's manual concerning fuel filler caps. The internal parts of the Motorcraft cap look identical to the OEM cap.
