this is my first post, but i have enjoyed browsing the threads. I plan on purchasing a gt premium this week, and my first mod will be to purchase the gt500 front bumber, fascia, and grille.

I see that the headlamps also have to bechanged.
My question is:
Is it just the headlamps housing that is changed, are the bulbs and lenes the same? I ask this to see if its wasted money to get the HID headlamps option.

Yes, it would be a waste of money. You need to buy the GT500 HID when you get the kit...

 

yeah it would, plus the fact that EVERYTHING on the whole front assembly has been changed including the impact braces

 

If your new GT had HID headlamps ... then just make sure you purchase HID GT500 headlamps for the swap. I am guessing that they will probably be around $500 each ... ouch ...
