thats wierd i think it is 50 state legal tho but i guess i can be wrong

 

I have read that some intakes are legal for the 05 and 06 models but not 07 or 08 models. Is it pending approval? Or just the emission standards have gone up

 

I have the S & B CAI with the SCT 91 tune installed. IT is a great system. Easy to install. Great service from company. You will be impressed. I bought this unit after doing my homework for several weeks. I am a service tech for a race team and this is probably the best unit on the market. If you are interested I can hook you up with the company I bought mine from, He is a friend of mine and he can save you a few $$$ on the unit. Let me know. I also helped S & B re-design theyre PCV hose connection so that it fits properly. Oh, have never had a problem with any check engine warnings in over a year of service.

 

Airaid doesn't require a tune either.....but it helps!

 

I have an S&B it's CARB aproved and works very well plus is about half as much as the BBK which by the way uses an S&B filter. If you want to get a tuner later like I did it'll work even better then.
