Default Performance upgrades for Auto-Trans?

I'm not planing on racing but I would like to get some more performance out of my 06 GT auto-trans so "if" I do want to play around with her she will have the horses when I want them. I currently have a BBK CAI and Borla AB stingers but want I want to know is it worth it to get a BBK TB, under drive pulles, and 3.73 gears? Or is there a better way, "cost vs performance wise" or "best bang for my buck". I also have an Xcal 3 coming at the end of this month to put a tune on her.

Thanks in addvance!

Scratch the TB and do everything else you said. You won't be disappointed.

The 3:73 gears are the best bang for your buck. Also with the Xcal3 you can play with your shift points.

Next should be a tuner, it will bring it alive & really help out your auto trans. Then gears would be a good investment I hear.

Thanks everyone for your input I really apreacate it. I pretty much figuered, "no TB" from the start but threw it in there just to see if I was right. I do however have one other question about the gears, what can I exspect see preformance wise, and fuel wise (MPH) from them?

Thanks again!

Who's tunes are you getting? Seems that Bama is preferred for auto's here on the forum, although those with auto's that have Brenspeed's tunes have high praise, too.

And a definate scratch on the TB.

You'll get a big performance gain with 3.73 gears. I have those with my automatic and it just wants to leap away when I take off. Its really amazing. A 1-pc. aluminum drive shaft helps too.

I don't think pulleys are a good idea with an auto trans. At least thats what I was told by my Mustang shop.

Good luck with your mods.
