Trutrac replacement? Suggestions?
Not been back to the track since trying a 50 shot for the first time, three weeks back. Besides the little plug meltdown issue on the 10.3 pass (fuel safety cutoff switch issue), broke the trutrac on the Currie 9". Replaced with a spool but street driving very much harder now.
Any suggestions? Don't think a Detroit locker would last long. Plan on using 125-150 shot off the line and keep boost @ 20 lbs. Car dynoed at 735 rear wheel torque before nitrous.

Have to verify info with Lance tomorrow. Think it's 11lbsand then almost immediately rises to 20. Only tried the 50 shot twice.Worked great considering 1strun was aborted at the end. Car dieddown halfway down track on 2nd run. Think plug damage was done by then.Still yielded and extra 3 mph at the 1/8. The 124 of coursewas way down from expected and actually 5 slower than when ET was 10.7. The fuel cut-off switch thing has been fixed now. We knew something was amiss when it only purged with theengine off. We have retarded timing, upped fuel pressure, and removed rev limiter.
Really would prefer a fresh dynotune with boost + nitrous together but you know how difficult that is to arrange being so far away. Still, plan is to try the 50 again off the line...see if it behaves all way down. Then increase incrementally to maybe 125 off the line. Not sure how FIaffects nitrous rwhp/rwtq.

Something doesn't seem right tearing up aTrutrac with a 1.4 60ft. She leaves hard I've seen the video's but still. So you don't think the Detroit Locker would by you much? Yeah, that spool is going to make drivability pretty low.
Yeah, I hear you on that tune. Just watch for pushing a head gasket. You running that kind of boost and spraying it could happen. Youmight also want to have your injectors flowed to make sure your not running lean on one cylinder, you don't want to burn anything up. Did all the plugs look bad after the one spark plug burned up??
