I would definatley do a red lip. It looks sick when your driving!
Heres a simple how to. I paint and do custom work for a living so I'm not some joe!
If your going to do this yourself this is the best way...
1. Go to autozone and get the following, (1000 grit sand paper, color paint of your choice, a can of clear (optional), masking tape, and pick up a news paper along the way home.
2. Go take your wheels off and wash them with dish soap and water (get them 100% grease free, you might even want to pick up some wax and grease remover from the local auto zone)
3. Mask the wheels by outlining what you want painted with the masking tape. (Dont put paper yet)
4. Wet sand what you are going to paint with the 1000 grit sand paper until its all an even pale dull look. You dont have to sand the finish all the way down, its just to prep the surface so the paint will stick. The paint wont stick to a finished surface. Keep the sand paper wet to keep the sand paper lasting.
5. Cover the rest of the wheel in paper.
6. add on a few mist coats until you see the color coming then add on a few medium coats (no flow coats. A flow coat is a thick coat that looks real glossy)
7. Then add on 2 medium coats of clear and then a final coat (if you want clear. If you arent using clear and your using a color with clear mixed in it then do a flow coat of the color to take place of the clear coat)
It might not sound like the best way to do it but the better way is having a shop do it for a few hundread, and the next step up is having it powder coated which will cost allot more.
If you do it right it will last you a long time. I did it on my stock rims on my tC in 05 when I got it and it lasted throug the year and more with out any problems. It couldve lasted longer but I sold them so I wouldnt know.

ok so if you paint your wheels all black, you so gotta get one of these stripes. Sorry it was a super quick chop.
