ok so im about to tint my rear side markers, and it wont do very well with them still installed in there, does anybody know the easiest way to remove the rear side markers from the rear bumper, hopefully without removing the rear bumper maybe? thank you

 

No, the rear bumper doesnt have to come off to take them out. I'm at work though so I cant tell you how specifically how to pull them, but I do remember it being extremely easy. I kinda remember the end towards the front of the car comes out, then you slide the rest of it out the front then as well.

Unfortunately, its been more than a few months, so I'm not remembering very well, but I can guarentee you dont need to pull the bumper.

I'm sure someone will chime in and clarify it enough that you can pull yours too. Just give it a few.

LOL...so I was entirely correct....but backwards. I guess we popped the rear part out, then slid it towards the rear. Either way, you do not need to pull the bumper.

With the risk of sounding stupid, what are you going to use....did you just get tint from like an auto parts store?

yea i just used tint i got from our local tinting guy, gave it to me for free since he has done about 10 of our cars in the past few years, here aresome pics

 

i think it turned out pretty well considering this is my first tinting ever, and im only 17 and of course the best part it was FREE!!!
