Default New Suspension!

Looking to get a new suspension for the car. Saw a shelby GT at Mustang Week that had the greatest stance I've EVER seen. Like the FRPP kit, just wanna see if there are any other kits that are any better? Heard the Saleen kit was great, and it's preiced pretty good. The car is a DD, with limited strip and road course time, just want an aggressive stance without suffering ride comfort. I have fixed LCA's and an adjustable UCA with the stock D/S, but will be upgrading to a one-piece within the next year. Want to do the best I can...so should I just get springs, springs and struts, or what do I need to have a good riding, aggressive stance, and great handling?

I like the Shelby GT suspension...I think the ride quality is good and the handling is a world of difference

I just read the Shelby GT has a handling of .97g on the skidpad? That's amazing! Is there any way to get more out of it though? I heard these cars are capable of 1+ g's with the right suspension? Maybe where ever I heard that lied...lol[&:]

To me there is no 1 kit that takes care of everything. Here is what crazyal said about the FRPP kit and many people have used his advice from this thread to piece together a great suspension.

if you want total control and capability of amazing handling

just up your self to a set of coil overs then you adjust the stance, get some caster/camber plates to adjust that

then you can mess with anything you want whenever you want

You shouldn't get too wrapped up in the numbers. Put a set of R-Compounds on a Ford Focus and it will pull 1G. Tires are the biggest factor.
